Calvin B. Taylor Museum - Site Interpreter & Volunteer Opportunities

Interested in talking about historical facts? Do you like talking to interesting new people? 

Site Interpreter - Seeking an enthusiastic Site Interpreter with an interest in museum interpretation. Interpreters will engage with guests and educate them on the history of the museum. Duties will include providing tours and running the museum gift shop.

Volunteer - seeking helpers in a wide variety of areas. Duties will be specifically tailored to the interest of the volunteer. Examples include - Assisting with events, doing research, giving tours, cleaning/yardwork/cooking, helping with office duties, and much, much more!

The Taylor House Museum has many community events all year long. Peach Day in Berlin invites locals and tourists to purchase peaches, listen to music, and shop and dine at businesses along Main Street. Sunday Evenings at the Museum, held on the 2nd Sundays in June, July, August, and September, include such attractions local musicians, speakers, films, and authors. In October, oral histories are collected and celebrated at Harvest Homecoming. December brings our Classical Christmas series with music, candlelight tours, and Wassail & Gingerbread events.
